They are great and there are a lot of them in this bag. Don't put the whole bag in if you don't intend to use it completely.

They were perfect for my project. They increased in size as described and we were almost completely transparent in a glass vase of water. We used them as wedding table decorations and placed the garlands in a vase. It turned out great. There are a lot more of them than you realize as they swell and get bigger.

Surprisingly cute and versatile

I was very pleasantly surprised. I didn't read the fine print so thought I screwed up when I received the package with the tiny "pearls" but went back to the product description to see they needed soaking. When soaked, they turned out exactly how I wanted them. They are cheerful and can get away from you! Out of curiosity, I dried five test subjects and they regained their original size, then I recreated them and they grew again, not as big the second time but close! Not that you have to reuse…

Not sure how much to buy to fill those vases? Here is your answer.

One packet of pearls = 1/2 cup or 24 teaspoons 1 teaspoon water soaked pearls = makes 3 cups of pearls fully hydrated 1-1/2" from the top). I added 1 teaspoon of pearls to the water and after 5 hours the vase was full of beads It definitely doesn't take 3 cups of water (I'm guessing you might only need 1 1/2 cups of water) to grow the beads, but the beads stayed intact when I poured them into a colander to drain the water It doesn't matter if you add too much water to the beads, but when I…
