Very, very, very bad quality!

Packed Great! Assembly was easy until... oh look, the brass z-bar support bushings on either side are loose. The screws are ready to fall out! So I tightened them but NO, they are loose because when tightened the Z-bar gets stuck and doesn't rotate AT ALL! So I had to bend the bracket to the right angle to allow the X-Gantry to raise and lower freely with the screws tightened. But it's still WRONG! The next step in wiring is easy, right? …….NOT… So I got to the part where I needed to connect…

Hictop D3 Hero IDEX

Packaging The packaging of the D3 Hero was excellent. Everything was solid and could not move. Received without damage.AssemblyAssembly was easy. It took us 30-45 minutes to set it up. Followed the YouTube video step by step. All setup documentation is on the SD card. So if you need paper, you need to print it out before assembling. Leveling the bed was easy. Took only a few minutes, the large leveling knobs are a plus. Running again, all documentation is on the SD card. You can download it…

Should have been a great 3D printer but the lack of workmanship forced me to return it!

I really wanted to love this printer. I was looking for a dual extruder printer after getting very familiar with my Creality Ender 5. The Hictop D3 Hero arrived quickly and was well packaged. Assembly was fairly easy and I was looking forward to good prints. I leveled the bed, matched the second extruder to the first, and got ready to print a two-tone kite from the included SD card. Unfortunately the Hictop printer did not read the card. I solved this problem by copying the files from the card…
