Don't buy in my review

Used it for 2 weeks then it stopped working. But, I bought it over the winter and now I can't return it. Good price and quality!

Pros
  • Good price and quality
Cons
  • The pump is not particularly versatile and may be unsuitable for boats with unique plumbing systems

Not as durable as advertised!

Although this pump was quite impressive performance wise the durability is far less than expected! A 5 year guarentee and only lasted 2 years! The sureflo float switch also succumbed to the harsh marine environment.

Pros
  • Works great on my 32 Ft boat.
Cons
  • This product does not last in a marine environment. The one I bought lasted 6 months.

awesome Bilge Pump! Great for solar projects!

5 stars! Awesome, awesome, awesome, after 5 water pumps this one is the best! I made a solar powered waterfall for my backyard and just discovered this pump. It shipped promptly and arrived at my door step quickly! I'm very happy with the amount of water this disperses.

Pros
  • Did the job I asked of it, very happy with it.
Cons
  • The High-Performance SEAFLO 2000 GPH Non-Automatic Bilge Pump is difficult to install for inexperienced boat owners

Excellent, powerful

This very powerful pump. It shoots the water out of the side of the boat, but be warned it takes power to make power. This thing needs a good sized wire to run properly so my float switch with its thin gauge wire wasn't able to handle the job, so I'm going to have to relay the float switch or find a more heavy duty one. But for the price so far you can't beat it.

Pros
  • Works great, boat's still floating.
Cons
  • The pump is difficult to disassemble for maintenance purposes

1 worked 1 did not for my opinion

I ordered 2 of these at the same time. It’s been some time since I bought them and finally got around to wiring them. One of the units works fine. The other unit is grinding restricted and squealing. My return window is closed and this pump is useless.

Pros
  • Excellent
Cons
  • Pump motor fried due to faulty Seaflo float switch.

Otherwise they are perfect and half the price

Identical to Rule pumps in size and mounting and use the same base. The only difference is they require a little more amperage. Check your boat's wiring to ensure you have sufficient amperage delivery before purchase. Otherwise they are perfect and half the price.

Pros
  • Works as it should, arrived on time.
Cons
  • Poor quality control has resulted in some defective products

its not 2000 gph its more like 650 gph

I purchased this pump to replace my 650 gph Johnson . I needed more flow in my sluice box . and it has the same rate of flow as my 650 gph .so be warned it is not 2000 gph . its more like 650 gph . other then a false advertising the gph , it works fine

Pros
  • rule...bite me....awesome pump....$120.00 cheaper than the rip off rule..
Cons
  • The pump’s installation requires significant drilling and modification, which can be off-putting for some users

Quality pump at a great price

Great pump at a great price. The amperage is a little high around ten but for a 2000GPH pump it is to be expected. This little sucker can move a lot of water.

Pros
  • Direct replacement for my factory Bilge. Easy hookup.
Cons
  • The pump is quite noisy, which can be irritating for passengers

This is for 1 PUMP not 2 PUMPS

Well I got bit by this deceptive ad and description. It shows 2 pump(s)! The description uses all plurals, "Boat Marine Plumbing Electric Bilge Pumps", "long-life motors", "Stainless steel shafts", etc.etc.Yes and in the FAQ's the first question was asking if this was for 1 or 2 pumps and they stated 1. My fault but they won't get anymore of my dollarS!

Pros
  • Good. So far.
Cons
  • Having trouble finding a hose too fit

it makes the Atwood look like a toy

Wow! it came one day early! I haven't tried it yet but this thing looks mean and tough. Ok. I love this pump. So much that I ordered 2 more.

Pros
  • This thing is a beast. I ran it straight for 30 minutes draining a water tank.
Cons
  • The plastic components are not particularly durable and may break easily

Both came in great shape and we put em both to work right away. Great product quick shipping.Love em a lot! That's my review.

Pros
  • Worked out great Seems to be a good unit for the price
Cons
  • The pump is not particularly energy-efficient, which can result in high operating costs
