We all know how wonderful duct tape is for almost everything. But this tape holds up around windows and around the AC UNIT way better over time. It holds up to moister and keeps holding after all the temperature changes over time. It's also thinner and in a lot of ways it gets in the corners better. So it stops the drafts all together. This is great for sealing areas that have openings, due to not closing properly, or covering wood seams while waiting for sheet rock insulation. Have also used it on ductwork, but the ducts are so damaged, the tape was like putting a band aid on a large wound! The way to get off the backing, which is super difficult, is to make a slice with a box cutter, then open from that area. Works like a charm (thanks, internet). Would buy again.

Only thing I didn’t like about it was the clear tape they used to hold the end of the roll. Could have used less adhesive tape. Couldn’t get it off, go figure. Other than that the tape met my satisfaction.

I've been using Aluminum Tape for years for many applications and this one is the best one I've ever found. It sticks to just about anything, is plenty thick, and is easily separated from it's paper backing. Sticks pretty well. I only removed it once to realign it a small section at the end of the piece and it removed well and restuck well. However I had not firmly placed that all the way down before realigning it. I used it to put together a reflective greenhouse area to use with a spider grow light I didn't use it to stick insulation. A 6 inch hvac ceiling vent was moved and reduced to 4 inch when adding a corner shower to a 2nd bathroom in my home. The output was weak duct was leaking air everywhere the tape looked like a blind guy applied it. I removed everything and did it myself. I resealed all the joints the tape sticks great I used a piece of wood dowel to smooth the tape all joints. Added duct seal the 4 inch vent output is better than the 6 inch was! First time I ever did this stuff.

I bought this to help seal the openings for a faraday cage and it works incredibly well. Even on the hinges. I highly recommend this product.

This tape is heat proof, and very sturdy. It’s held up my heat mats for a few months now because the sticky side of the mat wouldn’t stay up but this tape makes it 100% better.

Adheres very well to clean surfaces. Had some issue with taping holes in flexible duct pipe, even after cleaning it. Overall, a very good product.

I tried all other duck tapes but last only a few weeks at the most. However, this one still stays on our stucco wall outside.

I used this BIG roll right away to seal various metal ducts, angled and straight sections, etc. It holds so well that I didn't need silicone or duct tape or other adhesive to secure the pieces. Very easy to tear off from the roll and then adhere thin strips. Be careful not to let the foil-tape sticky surface touch as you pull it from the roll.

Used this to seal some air vents in my house. It worked well, good adhesion. Only complaint is that it is very thin, but it did not tear when I was applying it.

Purchased 4 rolls of this product to keep my insulation together around my HVAC Ducts. Works very well. It's thick enough to not tear while working with it but thin enough to tear when needed. The back pulls off easier than other brands I have used. Holds strong. Next time I need more. I'll purchase again.

This product works well with the exhaust pipe on my pellet stove. Also, like that it's high temperature resistant. The paper backer makes it nice to size the piece you need before you stick it in place.

I had first bought a 2" wide roll from another vendor. It really wasn't wide enough (had to use two strips) then I saw this tape, wider, and a much longer roll at a very reasonable rate, in comparison. Served my purposes well in sealing the seams of my camper-van subfloor insulation. A good deal.
