Exactly what I was looking for - silver colored metal stopper

This item perfectly fills the hole in the stainless steel kitchen sink that used to have a soap dispenser. The hole was exactly 1 3/8 inches in diameter and snapped tight. The silver color matches the sink's stainless steel well enough to work well. Time will tell how durable this item is, hopefully it can withstand the occasional splash of water.
