📐 Hillman Group 58178 2" x 3 Pack Review

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I always rely on Industrial and Scientific products. Hillman Group 58178 2 Inch 3 Pack Biscuits & Plugs was my perfect solution to complete my latest woodworking project. The size was perfect, and they fit perfectly into the pre-cut slits. The wood glue set into the biscuit's unique texture, giving a strong and stable bond.

Two inches is the diameter of the lid but perfect for covering the lock hole in an interior door. It's plastic, which means it can be painted to match the color of the door, and a bit of all-purpose glue keeps it in place with ease.

I hardly bought them because one review said they were under 2" but were taped to keep them fits. The part that fits in the hole is spaced 1.992 inches (0.008 inches) apart and has latches on each side to hold it in place. I don't know how it could be more ideal for 2" holes. The overall diameter with the rib is 2.180 inches, leaving a 0.090 inch (3/32 inch) rib to cover the roughness of the hole being cut.
