Good value for money, but.

Installed on a 2013 Chevy Tahoe Z71 with a 5.3 liter engine. Easy to install and good looking. One issue is that the factory heat shields don't fit the ends and I used a high temp gasket material instead to keep the hot surfaces out. The truck seems to have improved throttle response and idles smoother. However, I also replaced the connectors with an improved connector with cables, which means that the improvement cannot be solely due to the cables. Factory heat shields would be better.

Pros
  • Spark plugs and wires
Cons
  • Some faults

Ideal for spare parts

cables fit my GMC Sierra. They were a little longer than the OEM, but not so much that they interfered with anything under the hood. Also, there was another review that said they couldn't use aluminum heat shields that go around the end of the wire in the block. It was inaccurate. I used mine and they fit perfectly. They just hang around a bit when you put them on the end of the wire wrap that attaches to the connector. Once the cable is connected to the connector, there is no problem.

Pros
  • Ignition parts
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Not a good replacement for wiring OEM 2013 Suburban 5.3L

Cannot be used with OEM trunk heat shield. The boot is very long making it difficult to make a positive connection with each connector. I ended up trimming 3/8" from each boot to ensure a secure connection between the connector and the cable. Cables are at least 3/4" longer than OEM. Not a big deal, except there is a longer wire on the driver's side cylinder #5 that gets dangerously close to the steering shaft. I can return the factory cable for at least cylinder #5.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Available in white only
