The worst Brita jug filters I have ever owned. They don't seem to filter at all. The water just runs through them and in the end the water still tastes like chlorine. Terrible. Don't waste your time buying them.

Even the regular water filters I buy at my local pharmacy last at least a month. In ten days, this one will no longer filter half a gallon of water in under an hour. I use this packaging but will not buy this brand again.

The standard replacement HiWater water filter for Brita pitchers is affordable, but it stops dispensing water when half full. I need to keep the tank afloat to finish the second half.

These filters work the same as name brand filters but are half the price. The brand names left out a little coal on the first two jugs, as did these, and the taste of the water is no different. Some people seem to have had very different experiences, perhaps because their tap water is much harder or polluted than mine? They work great for me.

As this is a one person household and I don't drink as much as I should I was expecting a filter At least 2 Months as stated on the packaging. this did not happen - barely lived a month. The second filter I put in (all following the instructions btw) filters VERY slowly and doesn't filter the entire tank (which is only filled to the recommended level). So the best value compared to the branded version is not the best value.

After two weeks, the filter stopped working. It turns out it still filters, but the filter needs shaking, so move the sediment in and let it continue to work. I use the jug every day and the filters need to be shaken every two days. Won't buy them again. UPDATE: When I finally switched to the new filter, I couldn't stop the charcoal leaking out. Flushed for five minutes (not recommended 15 seconds), couldn't stop.
