When you pay $100 or more for a product, you should expect some quality. I attached a photo of this product. It was put together poorly and the wood was damaged in the process. I saw the red one, then decided to buy the red.it's a nice deep dark red with the black blades is a nice color combo. cutter is nice and smooth and sharp. the gear system allows both blades to close simultaneously. That is the issue with the xikar xi cutter and guillotine cutters. they work, but one side will cut while the other does not close in. to me, the XO provides a better even cut. the opening is large enough for any cigar that I'd use. the other thing I like about this and any other…

This cutter was great at first, then the blades came loose went wonky and now it’s dangerous to use. It was well cared for and only lasted 5 weeks. The warranty is only good for 4 weeks so you can’t get it fixed or your $ back. I expected to get a high quality product for how expensive it was. Very disappointing to say the least. I’ll never buy from this company again.

This cutter is amazing. Not only does it do a fantastic job but it’s also fun to use and it is beautiful! Exceeds my expectations.

This was more than I expected. The color (red) was very nice. Cuts nicely. As for the durability not sure yet as I've only had it a few days but it looks like it will last. I like the way it ratchets to move both blades together for an even cut.

The best straight cutter on the market in my opinion. The blades are extremely sharp, you get a perfect straight cut every time. Yes it's expensive, but in my opinion worth it. I really like the ease of use of this cutter - clean cut every time. Got the orange so I could spot it easy. Costs a good bit but worth it in my opinion.
