It fits 15 big size cigars, so they arent lying like some humidors do and say they hold a certain number but its only for robusto sizes lol. I didn't wanna use the built in humidor thing so i bought a gel stick humidor device. Works like a charm and the case is built like tank.

I'll mark this as five stars since the humidor itself is strong, seals well, and keeps my cigars safe. It *will* hold 15 cigars but only if the cigars aren't larger than about a 50-52 ring gauge. If you smoke larger gauge cigars, you'll find that it's more of a 12 count. But I usually never need to carry more than 7 or 8 at a time, so this is not a big deal for me. If you absolutely need to carry 15 cigars, go for one of the larger count travel humidors, just to be safe.

I've been pleased with the one I have so I purchased this for a friend who was carrying his cigars in a plastic bag.Can't have my dude doing that!

Worked very well as a travel humidor. Kept my stogies nice and fresh, used the sponge humidifier inside and also added two xikar stick humidifiers. Can 15 cigars only if the ring size is small, otherwise you're looking at about 12 that can fit. You can also take out the sponge layer and possibly fit more.

Doesn’t really feel that sturdy at all. I’m not sure how it is actually supposed to seal up because the latches are extremely loose and when latched the lid can move up and down. I wasn’t expecting pelican case tough or really even extremely water tight. I did figure it would seal tight enough to keep cigars from drying out in one day. A Tupperware container with socks for padding would honestly be better than this brand. Going to try another brand.

This works great. I am able to keep it at 70% at all times. I use the xikar solution with it and it seems to work great. I have been using it for a month now and I have only had to refill the humidifier filter once. Love it for traveling too. I took it to alaska and didn't have a problem with it getting crushed or wet even with raining on it.

Our XiKar Cigar Travel Case arrived promptly and looked just like the photos. I had read that it sealed so well that it was a little difficult to open sometimes. I also read a review that said prying it open with a quarter worked wonders. I needed a travel humidor and this worked perfectly. The foam is smooth egg crate type. Still worked ok. It can hold a large amount without the foam as well. Xikar make good quality products imo.

I have done research one humidors and it was down to two that I like. They where both pricey, but I wanted the Xikar more than the other one. And for a 15 cigars count this price was just right. The cost for this Xikar is the price for a 5 cigars count. I'm very thankful i waited to purchase. So far it has 13 cigars, puncher and a humidity control bag. I bought this as my first humidor because I have a trip planned soon and wanted something to bring my cigars with me. Unfortunately, the inside foam is NOT the same as in the image. The foam in mine isn't curved like in the photo. The foam is basically shallow egg-crate foam. As that's not too much of an issue, it's still not really cool to deceive customers. I enjoy cigars every chance I get and this case does just as it says. Keeps them safe from breakage and has a good enough seal to use a humidifier. Highly recommend.

Not extremely happy with the product. Pictured and the reviews and questions says that the unit comes with ribbed foam for placing my cigars. This one came with regular egg style convoluted foam. I'll have to deal with it, but I would have been better off with a different unit.

I bought this for my father-in-law who travels several times a year for several weeks. I really liked this humidor for several reasons - 1. it's extremely lightweight. While adding cigars will of course add to the weight, the case itself won't weigh down your luggage. 2 - I like the foam inserts to keep the cigars separate. 3 - I LOVE that there is a humidifcation product in the lid. The photo is of a model with a bead, but I received a model "powered by Boveda" without bead.In addition the boveda that came in came dry.I just did not return because I needed it for a trip.Product does not match description.Edit: The sealing is very bad, I have tried to submerge in water and it easily enters.

Took this on a boundary waters trip and needed a case that would keep potential water out. Very happy with the case, although I brought 15 cigars and could just barely fit them all in, even with the inserts removed.

I bought this to compliment my 5 stick humidor by Xikar. This works just as well. I have had them in my luggage on a flight with no issues - and no pressure issues either.I don't use the built in humidifier, but rater, I prefer the drymistat tubes. I toss one in per humidor (losing a seat for a cigar in each) and the humidity stays perfect.
