I got this for my father for his Chinese calligraphy and painting. He likes how many colors there are so he can taste them. Good product.

Chinese paint brush white, does not run when wet. The difference with the Chinese colors of Mari is that they are constantly fixed on paper.

Flexible opacity. The color can be transparent or opaque depending on the amount of water on the brush. Featured white flowers on toned rice paper.

Nice paint set. I use them for Chinese brush painting and they have the perfect consistency. Our teacher uses this stamp and her art is amazing! These colors were packaged in bubble wrap in a bubble envelope. No crumpled box! I wish all sellers to pack so beautifully!

Grainy paint. There are blue tubes marked with different colors but if you make a color sample they will look the same. Flowers have no names. As a longtime artist, I'm used to standards like ultramarine blue, sap green, ocher yellow. I'm not happy with what I bought but missed Revain's return window. Good quality professional grade watercolors are hard to come by and not very affordable.

This is a fantastic paint for Chinese painting. I've used Marie's colors before and wanted more navy blue. I love those big pipes. I recently learned at a CBP seminar that one should give the whistle a little message before opening it. This way the color is mixed before you apply it to the palette. Also, this color will not work if you mount Xuan paper. Western paints (Windsor-Newton, etc.) tend to wear off during processing. I recommend this color.
