Description of HO 25 32 TCT SHEETMETAL

Ideal for cutting stainless and high alloy steels, non-ferrous light metals and reinforced fabrics at a much faster speed than bi-metal hole saws. Tough tungsten carbide tipped teeth have a positive cutting angle which provide fast and efficient removal of chips and swarf. Ideal for production cutting and particularly suitable for use in drills with limited speed control. Tungsten carbide tipped teeth provide superb product life and cutting performance. Safety stop at the base of the hole saw prevents drilling beyond the maximum cutting depth.

Disappointing performance from this saw

This hole saw was completely underwhelming and barely made it through a few sheets of metal before it started to dull. After only a short amount of use this saw seemed like it had lost most of its cutting power. The industrial and scientific category suggests this saw ought to be more durable than it actually was..

Cuts well and quickly

Drilled hole in stainless steel electric smoker. The electric smoker has two layers of stainless steel and I wanted to add a port. Works well, be sure to lubricate. The maximum depth is limited by the bit body. It may not look like it, but it's true.
