Great batting, good for quilting

I separate the layers and put 100% cotton on My to enhance the profile of the quilt. Will buy again, no strong smell

Quilted Wool Wadding

The Hobbs Heirloom The Hobbs Heirloom Wool Wadding is the finest wadding I have ever seen, almost perfectly even. Even better than Quilter's Dream Wool. The price of $46.75 including shipping was very attractive for a 120" x 120" item.

I like Hobbs Batting but I would never buy it like that.

Completely unusable. Because the batting was folded inside the bag, it had continuous waves that made it impossible to lay flat. I love Hobbs Batting but I will never buy it again.

Pros
  • Handicrafts and sewing
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I'm not sure what happened to this particular batch.

I gave 3 stars because the batting I received may not pass quality control. I only use Hobbs Wool or Hobb's 80/20 and have never had a fabric where the batting is thick in some places and thin in others. I needed the cotton immediately, my order from another company was backordered and the delivery from Prime was fast (I ordered on Friday and it was delivered on SUNDAY) so I doubled up on the thin spots and just used wool and not the technique that I wanted. to use (separate the wool and lay it

Wonderful batting, good for sewing

I have this batting in a duvet that has been on my bed every winter for the past 5-6 years. I've washed it several times. From minimal shrinkage to no shrinkage, no wool smell, always lies nice and even on the bed, does not wrinkle when washed. It has a nice loft that really shows off the quilting. I will not use any wool other than this because of the excellent wear resistance and washability of this batting. Second, I live in the desert, where wool is often considered "too "hot". NO! This…
