Doesn't work for my application

I tried to use it on my Harley but I have monkey mounts and a soft camera, with all the adapters and mounts, it was higher so the vibration was too high to handle to stabilize them. For my GoPro 4, maybe a standard bike with standard short handlebars would work better with less vibration. Hope this helps someone.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • old

Works pretty well with the DJI Phantom

The mounting holes don't line up with the Zenmuse H3-2D gimbal like I was hoping, but the sturdy rubber grommets and location of the DJI Phantom 1.1.1 works better than that last anti-vibration mount I bought from Revain.

Didn't work for my purpose

I want to make sure people understand that I gave these 3 stars because it didn't work for my purpose. I tried using this with a bike handlebar action cam to reduce video shake. IT DID THE OPPOSITE. It actually made the video more shaky. Well, that might work well for a small camera mounted on a quadcopter, and that's probably what it's designed for. I'm not sure but it didn't work for my purpose. I will say that it is made from high quality phenolic board and the rubber supports are very…

Well made, easy to assemble.

Good quality, easy assembly. I was hoping to do something with MacGyver and use the gimbal protection on my Phantom 4 Pro. Wanted to make a 360 degree camera underfoot. The crafting worked fine, but the vibration increased exponentially. Imagine one of those things "Inflatable Wacky Waving Tube Man". So it needs to be attached to the body - nothing can be done on the legs. I only mentioned it in case anyone else thinks of trying it! All those pre-drilled holes make it very easy to do it…

Not very effective in reducing "jelly " vibration in videos

I believe Hobbypower's anti-vibration kit is designed for mounting a drone camera, so maybe my setup on my scooter is one bit "out". Maybe the vibration from the drone's motors is different than the vibration coming from the rough road to the scooter. As you can (hopefully) see from the uploaded video, my crappy DIY pry bar worked a lot better than the hobby power -Box. The video shows much less "jelly-like" roller vibration effects. Maybe someone will upload a video from the drone to see if…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • unreliable

Not what I expected.

Advantages: 1 - Low price Disadvantages: 1 - The two main frames are made of a material similar to that used for electronic circuit boards. I suspect that putting too much stress on the screw from either of these could break the material. With normal use this may never happen, so my concern may be unfounded. 2-All parts are supplied unassembled. One reviewer stated that it was easy to assemble. I do not agree. If I had 4 hands it would be easy. The seller must send them already assembled. I…
