Hockey Special Eagle Serving Tongs Review

I thought it was for chicken but it's actually a bar product used for catching ice. Anyway, I saw them in a KFC ad and had to buy them. I wish they weren't so rigid which would make it easier to use. Anyway, we like them.

I thought I'd like them. But most people can't squeeze it to grab something. It's a very pretty sight and "claws" on the ice, but most people end up using both hands or grabbing the ice with their hands. In that sense, it's not a very good product.

So I bought these for my wife for the same reason a lot of people buy them (because of the KFC promotion). It will be a somewhat fun gift and she will appreciate it etc. but they are very small and not functional at all, like pliers. If you squeeze them so the claws meet, they stay bent in that position and ricochet, only to be exposed less than an inch apart. You have to manually bend them open to use them again. I would return them if I thought they would ever be used, but I know they won't…

These tongs may never be used in my house but I've tried them and they live up to all the expectations of the viewer online. I'm a bird lover, a bald eagle lover, an animal lover, you know where I'm from. I noticed that so many reviews were about NOT RECEIVED, TOO LONG BEFORE ARRIVAL etc!
