Holder Mounting Bracket Adapter Cables Review

This product fits in an SSD, but the holes on the wider frame don't match the holes in my computer case. They were too high, and there's a lip on the bottom of the case, so I dug it up anyway.

is a fairly simple set of items. As long as they work, you never have to think about them again. The enclosure fits my 2.5" SSD perfectly, as well as the 3.5" drive bay, and the SATA cable connected my new drive to the MOBO with ease. There are tons of similar products out there and it's hard to say which one is the best quality, but I'm happy with it.

When I bought this kit I thought I might need brackets to mount a pair of 2.5" SSDs that I have installed in some PCs. came in handy in some other setups and will be used sooner or later. The screws were definitely needed though and the included cables were a real bonus as I ended up needing an extra data cable. The addition of the cables made this kit a solid value. Recommended.

Everything you need has arrived. This one was just over one and now I have a spare for my next project. It was an old computer so I was concerned that the new SATA cables might not work, but they appear to be backwards compatible and work fine. Note. SATA cables are straight, not perpendicular. In my case there wasn't enough space initially so I had to drill new holes to move the disc further - no problem.

The main problem people seem to have is holes that fit either a 2.5" drive or a 3.5" bay. First, any time you need to attach something with a few screws or bolts, tighten them all before fully tightening them. If you don't do this, the holes will not line up and you will end up chipping off the screws. This is probably the cause of most "SSD/HDD not fitting" and "Screws easily loosen" issues.
