Great price, poor quality

The mounting holes for the SSD match perfectly, but the mounting threads/mounting holes in the 3.5" case are so misaligned that they cannot be mounted in some PC cases. there are oblong closures in the compartment, no problem. In some cases I've updated there are only attachment points with no flexibility. In these cases, the mount simply won't work. It is also worth noting that the material they are made of is very fragile and thin. I would suggest a different mount/adapter if you want to save

Inexpensive, but comes with problems

The holes on the sides of these adapters are slightly offset from the mounting holes for a true 3.5" drive, and the screw threads in the holes do not match the threads on the side 3.5 inch drive holes. There are also no holes (4) on the underside of the bottom-mount adapters, as is possible with a 3.5-inch drive. The holes for the 2.5" drive do not line up with the adapter folding where the 2.5" drive should rest. I had to modify the adapter. Installed an SSD but it was a little tricky. I think

Does the job! fits computer accessories and peripherals

Pros: Works to add my SSDs to media PCs in 3.5" bays. There are no problems with the function. Reliable construction. Cons: Only fits 1 SSD/HDD per bracket. There are other designs that fit multiple modules in the same bay. If you have more than one I would recommend buying one of these.

  • Good workmanship

excellent at the price

excellent at the price. the quality is ok. Both adapters arrived in great shape and are more than durable enough for any SSD or HDD. They fit in my compartments, but the holes didn't line up perfectly with the holes in my cheap suitcase. My cheap case doesn't have the best build quality, so I'm not deducting points from this product. Overall I would buy this product again if I needed it and I would recommend it to a friend if I needed it too

  • many positive emotions
Cons
  • exchange available

Simple mount, good value

These were very simple stamped metal adapter mounts that did the job perfectly. No obvious fit and finish issues. There were no problems with the spacing between the screws; Both the small drive and the drive bay fit well. In this case the adapter fitted into a Dell Optiplex 3.5" drive bay with a latch, so I can't answer the threading question mentioned in other reviews. The screws for the 2.5" drive were ok when delivered. At this price the brackets were amazing value.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • I don't remember

Affordable Bracket: Hard Drive Enclosure

If you're replacing a 3.5" hard drive with an SSD, this bracket is for me. Not a problem, but also system dependent, but I'm pretty sure this will work on pretty much all systems. The best part is that it comes with two mounts and a good price. And the quality is good enough.

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • Pitfalls

Not so good. fits computer accessories and peripherals

I used one. Very cheaply made which would be good if it weren't for the size. The width wasn't exactly 3.5 inches. Therefore, without modification, the screws would bend over the surface, leading to potential stress on the SSD. I soldered small washers over each hole on both sides to get the correct width. good product.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Can I add something

This is probably not what you want

Although they supply you with appropriately threaded screws, the outer holes (the part that usually connects to the mounting bracket for a 3.5" drive ) smaller threads used for floppy drives and removable media *not* the coarser threads used in cases and especially 3.5 inch hard drives. I can't think of a good reason for that. So if you expect to be able to mount this with dampening pads and longer screws for 3.5" drives, look elsewhere. Your 3.5" screws will not work with the drive carrier.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • There are problems

Item is very thin, thin metal and sharp edges (ALSO BAD SELLER).

Product is very thin, thin metal, sharp edges and poor workmanship. I actually cut myself on one of the edges. Very poor edges, hole alignment and finish. I was in a hurry to install my new SSD that I had already cloned and actually used, which just lay at the bottom of my desktop, so I sanded down the sharp edges of one of the adapters, painted it properly, and used it. I emailed the seller to let him know about the quality and he said he would refund my money and a few days later he said he…
