Unexpected. I first looked for a micro plush blanket and settled on my son's bed based on price and color. Initially I was disappointed with the subtlety and flatness. I obviously missed the description. However, this is actually perfect for my 3 year old. The light is big but keeps it warm. Reminds me of the weight of a flight blanket.

I would add one more contribution to the weight of this blanket. It's heavier than what I've used on domestic flights, but lighter than what I might find in country houses in the mountains. It produces an amazing amount of lint on the first wash but seems fine after that. Instructions on the packaging that are not very visible state that it must be washed before first use. I was unhappy with the usual short 6ft comforters at local stores so this 8ft comforter was a good find.

I love this blanket. And I'm a cotton lover who usually scoffs at man-made fibers. But this fabric is better quality than the flimsy blankets you can buy at the drug store. it will itch, but it doesn't. So warm and breathable at the same time. Very thin and light. on tiptoe it is the perfect alternative. Green oil means the color of "olive oil".

Arrived quickly and well packaged. Pros: Nice and soft, extra long so I can tuck it under my 12" mattress and still pull it up to my chin! Cons: Very subtle odd smell when I first opened it. This comforter is soft and doesn't seem to have any lint on my sheets yet. The size is good, I am a 6ft male and the blanket can wrap my whole body well. My only issue is that it's not very warm, more like an autumn quilt. This works well when paired with a sheet, but as a standalone duvet, it doesn't hold up well in a Chicago winter. A little concerned after reading the reviews. This is the thinnest fleece blanket I have ever seen. It is double zigzag stitched to look like Nike or Adidas running thermal fleece.
