Worked as expected. Roasted well and the settings are pretty accurate. We were keen to try the bagel setting and it was very nice to be able to make a sandwich for breakfast (see photo). The crumb tray is a bit odd to use given the slots. The size is well suited for an apartment or a small kitchen worktop. Overall, the toaster works without any problems and is worth 4.5 stars.

The Nostalgia HomeCraft Toaster can toast two slices of bread like any other toaster we've had. It's also faster and looks better. We didn't try the bagel toasting function or the one that defrosts and toasts at the same time. These are features we didn't have on our two old discs that cost about the same. Since this one performs better and looks good, I recommend it as the best choice.

I've never had a toaster that wasn't high enough. Well I found one! The toaster is easy to use and uses bagels quite often, you just need to set the temperature level FOR the bagel. It takes time to understand what works. I also have mini bagels and they need to be adjusted as well. The cuts are wide enough, that's not a problem. The toaster is simple, the adjustment knob and the bagel button. Different types of bread and bagels may have different levels of customization, but keep experimenting
