TERRIBLE GOODS! They turned black when I washed them in warm water. The black residue stained my hands. It was like handling charcoal afterwards. But only if you want to poison your ice cream. HOORAY!

This ice cream scoop feels good in the hand, makes beautiful ice cream scoops and is easy to use for multiple servings thanks to the non-freezing filling. Works no worse than much more expensive shovels. Would I buy again (and definitely buy).

I've never had this type of shovel but I've heard how well they work and I'm not disappointed with this purchase. It's nice to have a second one just enclosing the one that accidentally spoils the first one, but they seem to be a good durable material and should last long until they go in the dishwasher! Very pleased with how well it worked the first time I tried them on ice straight from the freezer it cut like butter.

It's not aluminum on the outside. They have a silver finish. Very deceptive. One was peeling paint. They are also not filled with liquid, which heats up when held and contributes to better scooping. They work great without this feature, but claiming that they have this feature would be misleading. Skip them and buy the more expensive one if you use it for home and want quality. I used them for the school ice cream fundraiser, so everything was fine.

Fantastic price. It's less than half the price of a brand name, but they work great! I like to rinse them under warm water before spreading the ice. I do this and the spoon cuts through the coldest ice. I'm just glad there are two in the set. One of my kids put one in the dishwasher. Destroyed! Of course it will still scoop, but it's an ugly gray color and doesn't scoop that easily. I didn't want to experiment; that's how it turned out.

I used to have much better ones, looked just like HomeEdge until my friend loaded my dishwasher in and wrecked it. My previous one slid over ice like it was warm butter. I used to hear liquid in the pen when using it. I didn't hear any liquid on the HomeEdge blades. Not sure if it dried up, leaked or they didn't put enough in it. I used to work in an ice cream shop when I was younger and as I got older I bought one of these for my kitchen and loved it. In the end, someone who didn't know what was best put it in the dishwasher, thinking it would help. By the way, don't do it. you will ruin it I didn't replace it because I was organizing my dishes and didn't think I needed another kitchen utensil.
