Purchased for use at a Hari Potter prom party. They used a large punch pin to poke a hole in the "flames" and hung them from the ceiling with fishing line. It looked great. The description said they would run for about 12 hours on 2 AA batteries. They like it. They lasted 6 days and probably would have lasted longer but I turned them off. A word of caution, I bought the 48 and had 4 that didn't work.

They say 880 hours in a single test. has been burning for 15 days and is still holding up. We put a pair on when they arrived to see if they really would hold up. Also install from the Dollar Store. The dollar store ran out of battery, they work great, put outside to see the cold effect (Pittsburgh, PA), still working, 5 days on the road. Buy with batteries, cheaper than without batteries, then buy batteries. will be updated over time. I LOVE HER.

We bought these to hang from the ceiling for a Harry Potter party. The light is turned on by turning the top down. NO SWITCH. I'd love to use them the same way for Halloween too, but I'd have to take them off to turn them off and on every night. A switch would be better. They have a shimmering light that looks gorgeous. They are not very bright, so you also need additional lighting and use them for decorative accents.

These little battery operated candles are AMAZING! I bought this set to decorate my porch for Halloween. First I turned them off and on to save batteries. Then I kept forgetting to turn them off and just let them work. Since then they have grown strong. It's early December and I'm using them for Christmas (candles in the window). They are on 24/7 and still sparkle brightly. I just bought another set to finish off all the windows in the house. Very good candles!

This is junk. Don't buy them. Most importantly, some of them were faulty and when I checked why they weren't working I found that they were very hot. It looked like they could start a fire. For some reason each candle requires 2 AA batteries. So you end up spending more on batteries than that combustible junk. Also, each candle has 1 tiny LED that gives off ridiculously little light. It's just terrible rubbish. where they currently live in my house. Into the trash.

I really love these candles. Firstly, the presence of batteries saves me time and nerves. I have 2 of these in candle holders on my mantle and the flickering light looks realistic. Now I sometimes wear them for many, many hours and they don't even seem warm to me. Very good candles at a great price. I currently have 2 of these in beautiful hanging lanterns in my garden in memory of all my compatriots who are suffering and dying from COVID-19. If only there was REAL leadership in our country…

Due to the pandemic, our scout squad is holding outdoor ceremonies. Lighted candles are great, but they can't stand the wind, so we've replaced our wax candles with these. They fit "pretty well" in existing candle holders, but I've never had wax candles that fit perfectly, so it's not a big deal. Bought 2 packs (24 pack) for a Harry Potter themed party. 2 AA batteries are taken for each candle, the lower part rotates to turn on. I took needle nose pliers, took a thick sewing needle, heated it over a fire, then pierced the tip of a plastic flame arrester and pulled it out again. They look good and work great for what I need them for! My son had Harry Potter's birthday in November (he turned 11 and got a letter from Hogwaites! Lol!)
