These are UNSCREW for plugs and adapters

Everything is fine. They're cheap but do the job. Note that the plastic outer shell that you grasp with your fingers is ***REMOVED!*** from the soldered inner connector and soldered connections. You don't expect that since most of them have a retractable style, but that's how they work. The top comment currently hates them, which is fine. But if people knew they were just fooling around I think it would save them a lot of heartache.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Appearance

Connectors are thin and difficult to solder when thicker

These connectors are very cheap, flimsy and flimsy. The cost might be good because you're getting so much, but you need extra to make up for all the ones you're throwing away because you're distorting them by trying to solder wire to them. You are better off spending a little more for a stronger connector that isn't as flimsy with metal flanges and plastic.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • disappears

Some are cheap and some are rubbish

I knew they would be cheap enough for my project - but I didn't expect them not to even "work". I don't know what metal was used for the protrusions, but it's basically non-solderable, making these things useless for my purposes. Save yourself some time and hassle by simply grinding the wire and hoping it will pass the test and get something better. Even the holes in the tongue are sometimes not punched in the middle. gratitude

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • I'll write back later

AVOID THIS WASTE! AVOID THIS WASTE! AVOID THIS WASTE!

I mentioned avoid this GARBAGE! ? It is impossible to remove the cover without cutting it or destroying the metal parts. Whatever the plating even Kester 44 solder won't stick to it and I can solder almost anything, I've been soldering for 54 years. The worst thing is that when you can actually connect multiple wires, they barely fit into real RCA jacks. Save time, money and sanity, look elsewhere. If they paid you to take them, that would still be a bad deal for you! The second photo shows…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Very cheap design but they work

This is the cheapest design possible but they work and are great value for money. I don't use them often, but it's nice to have them on hand for projects when needed. I had no problem installing Kester 44 soldering tips using a Hakko FX888D soldering station set to 400 degrees Celsius (750 degrees Fahrenheit). It lasted 1 to 1.5 seconds. There was no discoloration or deformation of the plastic after soldering. The center conductor connection remained taut. The outer ring conductor is very loose

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Without automatic controls
