My original needle plate was slightly bent and I broke off many needles. This is the perfect replacement, great fit.

I was scared at first because I had to remove all the parts from my old one to fit it This and the screws are so small But I did it and it works great

No complaints other than having to transfer some of the equipment from the old oven to this new one. I thought it was completely finished, but unfortunately no. Probably none of them. In any case, I had to redesign how to move the old equipment from the old plate to the new one.

Perfect for my Singer Heavy Duty 4423. Arrived quickly. Easy shutdown. If you're buying this you might know it's just a metal plate. The black plastic piece on the underside of your plate should be replaced with this one. Don't let that put you off, it's a fast 4 bolt derailleur (I think). just know

I ordered this needle plate because my previous one started to bend after 3 months of heavy use on the machine. Because it flexed, my fabric continued to pull under my machine. This plate bent on the first day. The plate is not made of the same durable material as my machine. I could literally push the curve outward, but as soon as my needle hit the record, it immediately flexed back. It was bad, I had to go back to my original one. 1 star is too much. Garbage. Didn't last a day.

WARNING - this is not an exact replacement part - you will need your old plate for a new one. I still gave it five stars because once I did it and replaced the old record with this one, it works great! I've had problems with skipped stitches and after making sure the upper and bobbin threads are correct, the needle size is right for my fabric and the tension settings are correct, I'm still having problems.
