Slight deviation in the inner diameter at the end to the middle of the shaft. Won't go right without some sanding, but will turn upside down up to this edge. I don't know if the gear was just on the wrong end of the metal or if it was just out of spec. Also a bit too high, just enough that the engine is too hard to turn. I'm looking for a replacement.

Doesn't really fit the 466, the steel base of the gear is about 2 or 3mm higher which means it doesn't mesh properly with the horizontal bevel gear. On the 466 there is no height adjustment for this sprocket as the base of the sprocket sits on a bearing mounted within the frame of the machine. If it's too short you can readjust it, but if it's too long the only way is to machine, the only possible adjustment is that it's a horizontal bevel gear, so I had to machine the steel base to get it…

Putting a new part into the sewing machine from the box was a real challenge. I should have just come out and sent it back at that moment. After installation, the resistance was so high that it was clear that the engine would not run. I ended up plugging and unplugging the piece a few times, sawing off the bottom piece by piece until it fit well enough for the sewing machine to run smoothly.
