Installed in a building with thermostats on the opposite side of the room from the return. It's been like this for 20 years. Install it over the return line and set the thermostat accordingly. The temperature in the lecture halls is now stable at around 1 degree and almost everyone is comfortable most of the time. Completely changed the climate of this building for the better. Very easy installation. A 2-wire thermostat cable is required, which must be routed from the unit to the thermostat.
