🍃 Honeywell FC100A1029 Media Filter MERV: Enhancing Air Quality with Advanced Filtration Review

I have learned that not all air filters are exactly the size stated on the box. So I found out that for Honeywell air handling units, the Honeywell brand filters are the only ones that actually fit the holders properly. But these work fine.

You should pay attention to the MERV rating of the filter and use the same rating previously given by a professional or manufacturer in your device. Otherwise I was satisfied. I was advised to rotate every six months. Next time I will try every 4 months as the filter was very dirty. Probably due to new construction around my house. If you have asthma or allergies, suggest changing every 3 months.

They had what I needed so I bought it. It might seem expensive when you think about it, but you only change this filter every 6 years. It was my first shift and I wanted exactly what was in the oven. I went to 2 other local stores and Merv was always bigger than my Merv 11. So like any sane person I searched and found what I needed here and bought it. I no longer have to travel from shop to shop because my time is very valuable.

I ordered two filters and received both in separate boxes which were in perfect condition. Of course, you don't need to use them often, and when I opened the pristine box, I found that they were stuffing completely broken filters in every box that couldn't be used. I tried this filter because the filters I used had resized and no longer fit in the holder (I had to force them in and break them to get them out). This came up, but the particles from the filter broke off and fell into the airflow. This may be okay if you're not allergic, but I'm allergic to small particles in the air like wood particles. These are the manufacturer recommended filters. So I bought her. They work great and I change them every six months. I've found they work better if you lift the registers (metal grilles) in your house when you vacuum and use the vacuum attachment a few times a year.
