My six year old seemed to "brush" his teeth quickly. Having a one-tooth timer made her see the recommendation, and it wasn't just her mom who said it. The hand wash timer was a nice bonus. I had trouble sticking double sided tape to a mirror or wall. It kept dropping off, but we are in a high humidity area. So we used screws instead.
