Perfect fit for attachments

This tank is perfect for my 15 year old Hoover Steamvac All Terrain. You have to love a company that still uses/produces spare parts years later. While it is not cost effective to constantly replace such parts, it is better than throwing the entire machine in a landfill.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Older model

Finally a leak free tank

The best thing about this tank is that the valves at the bottom of the tank don't leak. The second generation tank is great. Not as brittle as the first generation and working valves at the bottom of the tank. I was warned it doesn't have a grip so I left my old grip which is easy to remove from the old tank and put on the new one. Makes shampooing carpets easier as I use less water now,

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Not sure

Nice spare part.

I have a SteamVac II. I don't think this is an OEM part as it's a bit larger and the caps are different. It works, but in a slightly different way. Also, the lids are unthreaded so they don't screw on like the old ones. They rotate about 1/4 turn. Many say they don't have a pen, and there's no pen in the photo. But the part I received came with a handle, so that was a plus. I've cleaned 2 rooms with it and haven't had any problems with it so far.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Poor quality product and parts

After my wife spent $276 on two replacement tanks and grips, I said that was enough. The plastic of the tank is thin and breaks easily. The handle easily bends, breaks and detaches easily from the tank when transporting the water tank. Even when new, water and soap leaked through the seals between the tank and the block. Poor technical design and build quality cheapened the device to the point where great features were completely unusable. I like to pay for quality and sometimes knowingly buy…

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Best for F7220-900 on nozzles and brushes

I wasn't quite sure if this would fit the F7220-900 but it fits perfectly. Comparing this tank to the original tank, the new one looks like the lids are too high and the base too big, but those are illusions. This reservoir fits exactly as it should, ensuring leak-free performance. Also, it came to me with caps, valves and grips - I didn't have to salvage anything from the original tank (although I did keep the valves and grip should I ever need them). This item looks well built. I survived 12…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Weight

This container is much better than the original unit that came with our carpet cleaner. This is a closed unit where the soap dispenser on the side is part of the main tank. The old system had a side-mounted soap container (looked the same, but was a separate bottle). The old device worked fine until the cleaner bottle somehow cracked or broke. After that, when we put our hand down to use, the tank would be fine, but part of the soap dispenser bottle would fall out and spill the expensive…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Damaged

Nice redesign to fit Hoover f7452-900

Ordered this to replace the tank on my Hoover f7452-900. The walls of the old tank were paper thin where the bottom gaskets connected to the tank and over time they became brittle and began to leak. This unit has held up well over the years and I was happy to find a $40 replacement part, even if it seemed a bit overpriced for injection molded plastic. Today I received a new tank and tested it myself. . The new tank is definitely more durable and thicker where needed. In fact, it looks a lot…

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
