these bags are practical

I love these bags. My vacuum cleaner with these bags has proven to be the most efficient and dust free. I check edges and cracks around all filter housings and I don't find any dust anywhere. Very efficient. The Hepa bag system is excellent. I used to use canister vacuums, but each of them had dust somewhere. Paid a hundred dollars more for a canister vacuum versus a bagged vacuum and left me with a lot of extra dust. Strange. Packaged devices are the way to go.

Pros
  • Not cheap, but decent

As Best Advertised in Vacuum Cleaner Parts & Accessories

When our vacuum bag was full my wife thought we could empty it and reuse it as it was less dusty than the paper bags we have used in the past. Knowing they aren't reusable, I found these Hepa Y filter bags at Revain for a reasonable price. In the meantime, I had to get paper bags. Paper is not as good as cloth filter bags. The only problem was that the shipping cost was the same as the bags. Price, delivery time and product corresponded to those declared. I will buy again. I combined it with…

Quality is factory made

Hello, We have used many types and brands of vacuum cleaner bags on countless vacuum cleaners over the years, quality matters. Some bags look and actually feel the same, but you can see the build quality. Nameless brands are significantly cheaper, but there's a lot to be said for something built with great parts and put together well. We only used the packages to have them rip when removed. Sometimes during installation. The suction port sometimes fits well, other times it just slides around…

Better than 3M Filtrete Bags

These bags are much better than the old Hoover bags made from 3M Filtrete material as seen on this product page: HOOVER 4010801Y 2PK Type Y HEPA Bags Also Fitz Type Z These bags are still HEPA but they are folded to fit my post more easily. The old bags were flat and the edges had to be stuffed and vacuumed to fit the bag. These packages are the correct width. The opening in these bags is still cardboard, but there is a flexible rubber-like material that covers part of the opening. The old bags

BEST Type Y Hoover Bags

These great bags are $6-7 a pair. Here's my take on why you should, or even should, spend more on them than paper bags. [A] You really want to reduce the amount of dust in your house. There is no comparison between the HEPA performance of these bags and the paper bags I have used in the past. This means the dust you pick up stays in the vacuum instead of being blown back up into the air.[B] You have a lot of dust or particle contamination on your hands - or you usually have a lot of dust…

Expensive but worth it!

My husband and I live in an old, dusty house. The house originally had a coal fired hot water boiler and I swear some of that old black dust still lingers in dark and hidden places. In addition, the house has radiator heating and no air conditioning, so dust is never caught by the filter, as is the case with forced ventilation. That's why I spend extra money on Filtrete Hepa bags. I just ordered two more and paid $6 for a bag and $7 for shipping (oops) but the good news is that the manufacturer

The bags themselves have an unpleasant odor

I bought a new Hoover WindTunnel in December and ordered 4 packs of 2 Original Hoover Type Y HEPA filter bags from it . One of the main reasons I chose the vacuum model was that it uses filters and HEPA bags. I soon noticed that every time I used a new vacuum cleaner it left a bad smell in the room. I figured the smell was because the vacuum was new and that it would go away after a little use. But now it's February and the vacuum cleaner still stinks. Today I decided to change the bag because…

This mixed bag works best with vertical bags

Correct product, Hepa media cloth bag with rubber seal is a great bag, but too expensive at $5 a piece bag. Therefore, the review about the bag itself is ambiguous. But the issues with the inaccurate part numbers in the photos depicting which listing gets you which vacuum bag are ridiculously disappointing and entirely unnecessary. I don't know whose fault it is. I have ordered several variations of this bag since purchasing the Hoover wind tunnel over a year ago. This is an incredible…
