Apparently made from different materials than my original filter. The pressure is different, the color of the blue ring is different, there is no tape to pull out the filter. It required extra work to fully insert it in a vacuum, and without the drawstring it would be harder to get it out.

Although I find this product expensive, it is the correct filter for the Hoover UH70825C. Washing is at your own peril and risk. I washed the original. I wasn't able to get all the dirt off and it took "forever" to dry. After that, the vacuum cleaner worked better. Next time, you'll have to "flush" the filter differently.

I use these on my bagless handheld vacuum which is suitable for pet hair and am pleased with how clean they keep the motor/fan assembly and durability without having to clean or change the filter. I keep an extra 3 so that when my vacuum cleaner indicates a filter needs replacing I can do it right away and put the dirty filter in the sink with dish soap to clean it. This way I don't have to wait for the washed filter to dry before using it in the vacuum cleaner.
