Simple and works great

Much better than other kits that require cutting or splicing. I installed this on my Saab 9-2x in minutes. Super easy, worth the money.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Recommend to attach a cable to Sedan Legacy

Not on Subaru Legacy Sedan 2008 and later. I would recommend adapting the cable for a 2010 Subaru Legacy Sedan. It works better and is very easy to install. No splicing or modification required. Plus can be done in about 30 minutes.

Installation in less than 15 minutes

Very easy to install on my 2006 Subaru Outback. Watch a YouTube video on how to do it. Quick make sure you browse the 06 outback etrailer site, look for the blue outback, follow it, keep it very simple and the seller sent five stars for it and the product very quickly.

Plug and Play Tow and Winch Products

At first this product said it was for my car. Sedan Subaru Impreza 2007 Apart from that, yes it can work with any vehicle if you want to connect it yourself. It didn't connect directly. If you cannot diagnose and connect electrical components on this vehicle. Do not buy or buy and install professionals. There are no instructions other than you can call your assistant yourself and check the light/multimeter.

2007 Subaru Forester

Took about 5 minutes to install. Simply remove the plank and Styrofoam underneath. Then, on the passenger side, remove the foam by sliding to the left and pulling up. Next to the bumper you will see a white connector. Plug it in and install the box in the spare wheel well. I used a zip tie to secure the extra wire from the car to the box and an elastic band to secure the rest of the trailer wire. So easy and worth the money. Note: The other item that needs to be installed is the fuse holder…

Don't believe the picture

Solved my problems because mine were bad. The right turn signal didn't work and the tail light on the right side was on constantly. This solved my problem and was very cheap. The only problem I had was that it didn't match the picture so I went with this one and not another brand. I was expecting to unplug my old one, plug this one in and be done. No, the output of the module was hardwired, no other connector. This involved taking out the old plug and adding it, which added my 20-30 minutes to…

  • Great overall performance

Just installed. through wiring

Installed on my wife's 2007 B9 Tribeca. The plug was a bit tricky to find, but it's in the cabin behind an alcove where the jack and crowbar are. Once this box is removed, just look at the bumper and it is clearly visible. Accessing and removing the old one took longer than installing this one. We left the box and plug in the same closet so everything was accessible and the weather was bad. We had 2 others installed from Uhaul and none lasted more than a few years. This setup shouldn't have a…

Not Recommended Fits Towbar Accessory

Firstly it didn't fit my car so I had to modify it to make it work. The device I received was not the same as in the photo, the output wires were hardwired. Secondly, after about 2 weeks, a short circuit occurred between the right stop and the turn signal, so that they flashed alternately when the turn signal was switched on. They flashed so faintly you could barely see them and there was a fast turn signal warning on the dash. This device requires a 12V DC power supply to operate. I'm not sure

Worked great for me!

Fairly easy to install on my 2003 Subaru Forester. Taking things apart to get to the spark plugs is always pretty tricky, but nothing to complain about (try plugging in an '86 Ford pickup). have any problems. I'm only towing a small cargo trailer with regular tail and side lights, so this may depend on your particular trailer and the condition of its wiring. The fact that it doesn't draw power for your trailer from the taillight circuit, it draws directly from the 12V socket (in the existing…
