EZ installed, works great!

Very easy installation, only reclamation instructions need to be printed larger to read. Works great, very easy to set up.

Pros
  • For easy removal of the brake control unit from the vehicle for storage and anti-theft protection
Cons
  • Interval

Cable recommendation is wrong. There it appears.

Wrong cable recommendation. It turns out there is no cable for her controller. Your new recommendation is to cut the connector on the controller and this cable and solder them together. So much for connector standardization.

Pros
  • Dead ends allow connection to any brake control
Cons
  • In case of doubt

Used butt connectors in a significantly smaller form factor for installation under the dashboard. Otherwise it was the correct brake control connector recommended by Hopkins for their Brake Force 47225 brake controller which I am reusing on another vehicle.

Pros
  • Hopkins brake shoe connectors 47225, 47235, 47284, 47294, 47297
Cons
  • unreliable
