I thought this would be a great solution for my trailer. One of the bars was broken and not only provided a nice easy fix but also had LEDs to show if the trailer cable was working. After cleaning and installing the wires twice and no lights on the trailer (but the LEDs were blinking fine!) I cut the wires and used a multimeter to see if the trailer was getting power. Vain.
