I ordered these to replace similar ones that were missing. The quality of these clamps is excellent. I particularly like the spring tension and the rubberized lips. I look forward to using these little helpers for years to come.

The rubber tips on the ends of the clips aren't held in place by glue or anything, so they keep falling off. Threw them away after a day of use. Don't waste money on them. Spend them on something that really works and won't fall apart after literally 1 use.

These clamps were just what I was looking for! They have a nice strong grip that can hold my heavy sheet metal together while soldering. I'm an artist and I needed something that could accomplish this without scratching the metal. They go great with cleated wellies but fall off very easily.

These are not complicated tools! I have had several and in the right situation they can be very useful in the workshop. I just wanted/needed more. This set was worth it. I like the steel versions best, I have the plastic versions. Here's what spring clips should be; simply no more and no less. Good tool, good price, great price!

These clamps WERE USED, NOT NEW. The photos I took were when I took each one out of the box. Explicitly returned from a previous client. Silicone/rubber does not stick to the handpiece. The spring tension is high. So if you try to clamp at a certain angle, the orange tip will fly off as the clamp slips and locks. These clamps were better than no clamps, but left a lot to be desired.

These clips are phenomenally strong and well made. They are a bit difficult to press unless you have great arm strength, which I don't have. That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Depending on what you want, they're absolutely perfect! I ordered them to keep my large bag of dog food sealed. This is probably not the best use for them, but I wanted a very large clamp. I wouldn't buy them again because I don't believe in buying things that you know will need replacing in a few years. The steel is thinner (20g) than a pony of the same size (18-19g) and significantly less stiff. The clip's body feels like it will curl in my hand when fully compressed. The nib is chrome plated and about the same size as Pony's, but Pony's nib is hardened and again significantly stronger. It was a bit of a gamble to see if they were good enough.
