Doesn't fit JX-10

Many reviewers say it works with devices like Roland Alpha Juno 2 and Roland JX-8P. So I was pretty confident when I ordered it for my Roland JX-10. This cable is not suitable for JX-10. I'm sure the cable will work fine with anything that fits and since there's nowhere else to tell people it doesn't fit the JX-10 I left a 2 star review.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Is ok

This cable fits a Korg DW-8000 synthesizer

I have an old Korg synthesizer that I haven't used for a few years. When I started using it, I found that I had lost or thrown away the original power cord. The power cord was not standard so I was happy to find this cord for sale at Revain. It works great and now I can use my "old" but very expensive and very unique keyboard synthesizer again. Great find!

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Some problems

Too small jack on AV accessory

I bought this to replace the power cord on my TEAC tape recorder. Unfortunately, the socket is too small. The pin receiver on the tape deck is the same size as the plug receiver on the deck, but neither fits the female end of the cable. It seems odd that one end of the extension doesn't fit the other end of the same cable, but that's exactly what you get with this one. Unusable and not expensive enough to worry about returns.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some small things

Great cable for many electrical situations

Well made power cable from Hosa, a company I've always had good luck with. I also have many, many of their audio cables which work great year after year. Judging by the looks, this cable should also be around for a long time. It perfectly complements JNCAIR's "Jump-N-Carry 1700 Amp 12V Jump-N-Carry Starter with Power Supply and Air Compressor". 12 volt 1700 amp starter with power pack and air compressor that makes a great auto starter and tire inflator but oddly doesn't include a power cordโ€ฆ

It's not just a cable.

Anyone who has certain Roland music devices (e.g. I have a Roland Juno Alpha 1 that this is intended for) knows that it is a very strange one, isn't it There are standard two socket port plugs, which MUST be the correct shape (rectangular) and size or you will never be able to turn on your vintage synth. These types of cables are hard to find and often just don't fit right. However, this model is ideal. You have to squeeze him hard to get him, but that's spot on. It's strong, not too flexibleโ€ฆ

Pros
  • is understandable even for the old
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

IT WORKS!: power cord

So I have a Roland keyboard from the mid 80's; this is the Alpha Juno 2. This keyboard uses a strange cable as it didn't take long for the world to adjust to the standard IEC cables used in everything from computers to heaters. It has two pins and no polarity and nobody or his brother has it available. This pup fits in perfectly and happily sends electrons in and out and doesn't release the magical smoke that makes the electronics work. Couldn't be happier. (It's a power cord so it might be aโ€ฆ
