I bought these as a shower gift - you can never have enough of them! - and several reviews said they weren't very soft. They certainly weren't soft when they arrived, but I work with fabric a lot so I decided to wash them first and then see. They wash well, not a lot of lint in the dryer and softness! Lightweight fabric but just right for making blankets (diapers). I will get them again!

I never write bad reviews but felt it necessary to share my experience with these blankets. I unrolled them for washing for the first time and noticed that one of the six comforters literally had brown stains in the corners and a huge hole. The other five were (obviously) clean but I am so put off by the thought of using them on my child. Also, they are definitely rougher. I thought they might soften up after a few washes, but it's too early to tell.

We were so unhappy that we left the hospital diapers. There's really something to be said for diapers that are the right size and have the right amount of stretch while still holding their shape. A few days after returning home, we set out to find clothes to match those classic hospital diapers. We were so impressed with it! We use them for bath and changing tables (they're super absorbent!). Thanks for this product!

My cute little ones change a lot of blankets every day and they are so perfect. They are larger than the regular ones so you can really wrap your sweetheart. They make good changing tablecloths etc. I bought a large pack as my nephew's house only sleeps two! He has a line of the most adorable identical twins. Just like my son and my grandchildren. I love pampering these two - it's not really pampering, it's love and comfort. When they get older, it can be called spoiled.

Might work for this purpose but not the 100% cotton I wanted and stated in the description. I washed and dried with vinegar and baking soda, as one reviewer said, to soften them. They are not very soft after washing, just a little softer. I planned to use them as burp cloths and lay the baby down during diaper changes. I'm not sure how absorbent they are for polyester. You are terrible! I am so disappointed. I ordered 6 packs from this company before Christmas and they are perfect - exactly the same as the ones they gave us at the hospital. My son has special needs with excessive salivation. We use them as bibs because they don't aggravate his sensory processing disorder and I've had to replace some worn ones over the years so I decided to order 12 packs AFTER I was sure it was the product I wanted.
