I had gotten my kid a previous version of the Housbay alarm clock with USB ports for Christmas and it was alright, worked well. Didn't think much of it but this new model came out and I was curious to compare.This is quite an upgrade from the previous model. Yes, it only comes in white at the moment but I don't mind. What I will say is the numbers on this are crisp! There are dials for adjusting brightness of the digits and separately for adjusting brightness of the nightlight. Aside from that,

The size of the clock is small, but good things come in small packages. I cannot see red/blue lights so I searched for a long time. The color is perfect for me and I can see the time regardless of where I am in my room. In do not need it for alarm purposes, just for seeing the time and not having to use batteries. I will order another for a family member who is having trouble with the red/blue lights like I did.

Love everything about this clock, the numbers are huge, easy to read and easy to set up. I had an issue with the 1st clock that I bought, the nightlight was not working at all, I contacted customer service and they kindly sent me a replacement which I received and is working perfectly fine, I even bought a 2nd one and that one too is working perfectly good. I love this little thing! Simple. Clean. Easy to operate. Does just what it’s supposed to do. I didn’t want any extra bells and whistles but didn’t want it to look super cheap either. The white color makes it look a little more "dressed up” on my black counter. (I keep it in our bathroom so it forces me to get up and walk to it so I don’t just push snooze. Lol!)

Overall we really like this clock, however after 1.5 years we had the same issue a few others have mentioned about not being able to turn the alarm on or off. We never use the alarm but after resetting the clock I couldn't turn off the alarm. This happened after a recent power outage.
