Foam is Better Than Plastic

Foam balls are better than plastic in terms of durability and accuracy. Good for kids to hit for the price in the backyard.

Pros
  • Safe Indoor and Outdoor Practice
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

great value

Perforated balls are great for keeping the ball in tight spaces, but they are easily damaged and don't feel like real golf balls outside of the club. Styrofoam balls look more realistic, but fly much farther.

Pros
  • Improve your game
Cons
  • So far so good

The foam is good; useless plastic

I bought this mix because I didn't know which one was better. Soft foam balls are good; probably about 30% of real golf balls go. Plastic whistle balls are useless; it's hard to even get them in the air. They're only of value if you hit them in a very short range, even then you don't learn much about the swing. So now you know.

Pros
  • Available combination
Cons
  • Some errors
