I'll buy again the best in the household chemicals category

We have a block of meat in the middle of the kitchen. This is a vintage item that will definitely draw attention in our kitchen. As they say, he needs love. I ordered this product and it completely livens up the butcher block. The butcher block drinks this oil completely. Another big plus, we have soapstone countertops and a soapstone splashback in our kitchen. We were told that mineral oil would help restore the stone's luster and shine, especially after cleaning. I cannot express how much…

Makes wood beautiful

I did a little research before purchasing any food contact oil. I'm the kind of person who prefers to use coconut oil for literally everything, but in this case I figured mineral oil would be a safe bet. There is no risk of rancidity and it is indigestible. It also makes beautiful any wood it touches. I applied this final grinding oil to my cutting boards and spoons from a certain Swedish warehouse and a maple rolling pin from a restaurant supplier. Now they look and feel just as good as the…

Perfect for the season and maintenance!

I recently purchased a quality acacia wood carving board and upon receipt found it had not aged. The company recommended an edible mineral oil or meat oil. After some research I settled on this Howard Products oil. This is perfect for what I wanted. Before the first use I applied three coats, letting each dry for 20 minutes and wiping off the excess in between. The wood soaked it up, so I didn't really have a noticeable excess. Immediately the wood gained additional depth and beauty. Now when I

Happy with my choice

Works great. We bought a new sink for our kitchen and it had a built in chopping board. This thing looks like it never saw oil in the finishing process. It was dry to the bone. I lost count of how many layers of butter it took, but it had to be like 8 before it really looked and felt like a usable cutting board. I have to lubricate the oil regularly until it reaches some kind of stagnation, but at the moment I have about half a bottle left, so I'll be fine for a while. While at it I tinted some

Great cutting board oil! The best moisturizing oil.

I usually oil cutting boards and wooden spoons regularly. I just ran out of the oil I usually use and chose this one based on Youtuber's recommendation. Yes, now I understand why it was recommended. Pictured with oil, the cutting board before oiling. I've had this board for six years now and use it every day. I oiled it regularly so the before and after may not seem as impressive as it was but it made my board almost like new! I put a coat on it and walked away thinking it would take about an…
