When you buy a printer, you inevitably buy certain cartridges. Our printer seems to be using more ink than ever before. Luckily, they're a little cheaper here than in stores. Fit very well and we've never had any problems with them.

I printed a 39 page report that was 50-75% color and this cartridge shows 25% ink usage. This cartridge only delivers about 100 black pages. Next time I'll buy a third party ink cartridge and if it still performs poorly I'll ditch my new HP printer and go back to Canon.

I thought buying HP OEM replacement cartridges would be a safe bet. The ink level still shows 25% full, but the last three pages are lighter - almost nothing now. I cleaned my head twice. Third is my next stop and then a scrap printer.

I love my HP all-in-one printer. I use it often, not every day but at least a few times a week. Most of the pages I print are in color. Update>>> STILL AWESOME! You only get 1/2 ink. Too bad on Hp. as always. This is the worst! I wish I never had to use it. Every time it gets halfway, it starts typing badly. I checked the printer and no, it's cartridges. HP ink is not your friend. And HP says nothing :). Nothing new. Looking for a new printer! And yes, I'm still looking for a new printer. Seems HP has a new trick to get more out of its ink business through a subscription model. I thought maybe it's just me, but I see a bunch of other recent reviews with the same thing. Bought at the end of February. We almost never print anything on this printer. Their app says we write an average of 29 pages a month, and I feel like the last few months have been even easier. It was a failure. The printer just wouldn't recognize it. Unfortunately I opened it up for installation 1 day after the return window! If you buy it in advance, I recommend trying it out while you can still return it.
