🖨️ HP 26A CF226A Toner-Cartridge Black for LaserJet Pro M402/M426 Series Review

It's really expensive compared to others when I checked. The only reason I bought it was because my office IT tech said that normal toner could ruin the printer and also cause the computer not to "recognize" it. It only lasts less than 3 months.

A toner cartridge may seem expensive, but it lasts forever! I have quite a bit of material to print for work and I'm very happy with how many pages I get on a cartridge - I don't have a number but there are thousands of them.

As other reviewers have noted, the print quality is top-notch. HP's claim that the 26A cartridge lasts approximately 3,100 pages is not true. My output from this tape is pretty much exactly 1,000 pages, averaging 400 words per page. I only print text (no graphics, no photos etc.).

This cartridge is really overpriced for the number of pages it prints. Print quality is great but then fades and dies after 3 months working from home during COVID. I have an HP desktop computer that has run flawlessly for years. My HP printer is the same. Ideal. This cartridge is HP, no thanks. I don't know if my defect was or something like that but it ended in the blink of an eye.

I used to have a non-laser printer. I've made trips to the store for replacement cartridges, it feels like I turn my head every time. While this article is relatively basic, it outperforms many of the toners for sale here at Revain and elsewhere. Why? Because it is an original and not modified. I'm pro-recycle, eco-friendly, etc., but when you buy this OEM product you get (a) a COMPLETE toner cartridge and (b) the toner color works as it should and doesn't smear or bleed all over printed pages. I have always used manufacturer brand cartridges in my HP printer. I bought this particular cartridge in February 2020; and I am retired and only use for personal use. It is stated that up to 3,100 copies will be printed. Ten months later I was very disappointed with the actual number of copies of this cartridge. Over 600 copies for maximum print productivity.
