🔌 Renewed HP UltraSlim Dock 2013 D9Y32AA#ABA Docking Station – D9Y32 Review

I ordered this dock to duplicate the setup I have at work so I can easily work from home. I ordered this particular one (unlike other similar offerings) because other reviewers said it came with the required power adapter. Since the product description didn't say anything about it, I knew there was a risk it might not happen. Just to clarify, this product listing does NOT come with a power adapter.

I originally bought this type of dock to save space on my desk with my HP Elitebook 840 G6 and expand the display to dual monitors. Worked after the initial setup. Without any changes to the settings, only one display was working the next day after waking up my laptop. On the third day none of the monitors worked. After trying to fix the problem by rebooting, hard booting, and checking the display settings again, I couldn't get any of the monitors to work. I will try to return this dock and buy

5 stars - but just pay attention to the connections - and order/have adapters - you will probably need them. Two headings: 1. As someone said, the dock covers your HDMI port and there are no HDMI ports on the dock. 2. Note that the monitor ports on the back are DISPLAY ports and not HDMI ports, although there is a VGA port. Incidentally, the specs say HP Elitebook 840 G1-G4, but I have a G5 and it fits there too. Easy to use. It's so good to be able to have multiple monitors!

I bought this docking station because of its design. It is very small compared to other docking stations and I can use more space on my desk. I had a problem with this docking station because it didn't fit my laptop. I couldn't connect it to my laptop so make sure the ports are suitable for your laptop before purchasing. This is my fault, not the seller's. Ask as many questions as necessary to ensure this purchase is right for you.

I bought this product and at first I had a problem with the AC adapter overheating and finally it stopped working. The seller contacted me immediately and sent me a new power supply. This device works as advertised and just like the one I use daily at work. This dock allows me to work with multiple monitors at home, not just my laptop display. Good value for money.
