These are original cartridges. If you have one of these printers, always spend the extra money on genuine cartridges; In the end you will not regret it and the printer will last much longer.

I really prefer to use OEM products over compatible ones. and this open packaged product was perfect. OEM at a much lower price than retail. Update: January 2014 Just saw the price for it. it's not what i paid for. I can't remember exactly how much I paid, but it was MUCH less

This double extended cartridge was great value and worked flawlessly. The toner remained sharp throughout its life. I've used it to print genealogy books that are 500 pages each. Many pages contained multiple images that required additional toner. I was able to print an average of 25 books per cassette.

I have several printers in my office that use this cartridge. Buying two makes sense as it's cheaper than buying one cartridge. This is the X cartridge that prints more pages and lasts us a very long time. We have network printers for heavy duty printing, but we also do a lot of printing on our desk printers: customer receipts, custom reports, email printouts and the like. This works fine for our use.

Always buy HP toner for our machine, don't worry about after-sales service for our main printer. These cartridges give us around 20,000 pages each (the current cartridge in this box has 20,853 pages of which around 1,100 remain), our HP4350 has almost 800,000 pages so far; we take very good care of it. I don't use original toner cartridges in most of our desktop computers because they're expensive, but it makes sense to only use the manufacturer's brand for the main hardware.

Will only be buying this one from now on. Original packaging and actually HP. I have a weird printer that only accepts HP. You cannot use cheaper HP compatible brands. In this case, and even then it was tax season, one could only imagine how quickly we ran out of toner. I liked that it was cheaper for the same item I bought in other stores. I am very happy with the purchase, I will continue to buy
