Works great with my brand Watts 8 GPM UV water purifier, Watts 20-40w ballast broke down after about a year of actual use. Time . And a Watts replacement was very hard to find, at the time costing $140 a unit.

I received these ballasts to replace another which should last at least 3 years. They serve my UV filter lamps much better than the previous ones and are less bulky making them easier to install. This is the best return as for the price you would pay for one ballast you get two in this package. It's early days but I'll update you later if anything changes.

Be prepared to pay as much for bulbs and ballast as you would for the whole system. The ballasts supplied do not last more than a year. You can purchase a kit containing the main unit, 3 lamps, 2 ballasts and 2 tubes separately for around the same price as the lamp ballasts and pods. It does not make sense. The prices for these items are ridiculously high. I'm sure they cost 10 times less if the manufacturer buys them in bulk from China. It cost me 230 for 2 bulbs, 2 pods and two ballasts. My…
