Be prepared to pay as much for bulbs and ballast as you would for the whole system. The ballasts supplied do not last more than a year. You can purchase a kit containing the main unit, 3 lamps, 2 ballasts and 2 tubes separately for around the same price as the lamp ballasts and pods. It does not make sense. The prices for these items are ridiculously high. I'm sure they cost 10 times less if the manufacturer buys them in bulk from China. It cost me 230 for 2 bulbs, 2 pods and two ballasts. My original ballast lasted 9 months; The original lamp lasted 6 months, the native sleeve broke off.
