HSTECH 72 4568 Selected Vehicles Adapters Review

Purchased for my 2012 GMC Sierra 1500. The leads are what I need for an aftermarket install. All wires connected simply and easily.

Worked perfectly plug and play. Used on a 2001 Suburban. If you are making front and rear doors you will need 6 of them (4 speakers and 2 tweeters). Or make sure you keep the connectors from your old tweeters.

I finally decided to put new speakers in my 06" Chevy Trailblazer and needed these little adapters to make things easier. And guess what, it was very easy to plug in and play. A good solid connection will be made and they should last a lifetime.

They are not designed for GM vehicles after 2009 even if they say 05+. They were also extremely difficult to attach to the terminals. If you buy cheap products, you get cheap quality. You can pay $5 more for a Crutfield, but at least you're getting the right part and instructions.

These match the speakers in the front doors of my 2007 Saturn Aura XE. I had to cut a very small amount of plastic from the factory wiring harness to use to connect to aftermarket speakers. It only lasted a few seconds. I would rather use these than soldering the connection so the door inner panel can be easily removed again if needed.

It fitted my 2005 Silverado perfectly and allowed me to replace the factory (blown) speakers with aftermarket speakers. This product saved me the trouble of cutting GM connectors and crimping new connectors to fit stock speaker horns. This product was great! - Use any standard GM car speaker - No rewiring required - Never lose connection with the + and - wire Can be rewired if needed.

The side that attaches to the vehicle wiring harness is OK. However, the side connections on the loudspeaker side are too narrow for the corresponding connections on the loudspeakers I installed, the Fosgate Punch models. I paid close attention to polarity and different terminal sizes, but these adapters are just too narrow. I had to trim the width of each terminal about half a millimeter with wire cutters.
