I'm in VR now! on accessories

THIS IS COOL! I have a Valve Index and wanted to take it a step further so I bought 3 of these to track my whole body. I did a handstand in VR. Enough said. The price tag is certainly hard to swallow at first, but they're a lot of fun and I don't regret them at all.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Some bugs

They work! - Accessories

I bought 3 for full body tracking and I love them. Sometimes they lose connection to base stations and you have to spend some time to get them working in some games that support them. Remember they are not perfect. But I really like seeing my legs move now. I am perfectly happy with them. But I still love my Vive. Best buy ever.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • For seniors

The battery lasts as long as the Index controllers.

They're smaller, lighter, and have longer battery life than the 2018 model. They may be more expensive than the 2018 model, but you'll need to buy a battery for your trackers to match the battery life of these new ones. This makes them significantly smaller, lighter and much easier to process. Tracking is stable and never lost over multiple days of play.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Fits

Easy to use and perfect for the application I use it for.

Bought these for full body tracking on VRChat. They work great, no issues and no weird bugs or crashes unless they somehow lose track of the base stations. They hold a charge for about 3.5-4 hours of continuous use. and they charge in about an hour. I've had no issues with battery life or loss of tracking, within reasonable limits. So yeah, I highly recommend them if you want to be more animated in VR.

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great Vive product for accessories

Amazing! I tend to play VRChat a lot and I will say they are worth every penny (yes they are overpriced). Delivery takes about 1-2 weeks, even with one shipping day. It's worth the wait. Battery life is 5-6 hours, which is decent for a small tracker. Tracking accuracy is 10/10. I can twist my ankle and she catches it perfectly. I will say that if you play VRChat you need a full body avatar. I ordered it to save me a lot of hassle and frustration. (NOTE) - To play full body VRChat you need 3…

Expensive for gaming, cheap for high quality motion capture

I don't recommend this tiny device if you plan to play video games with it, the price will definitely drop exponentially in the coming months, so be patient. Well if you are an animator this is a MUST for a cop. Ikinema Orion or VRIK will provide you with very high quality mockup data. Especially VRIK if you tweak the settings a bit. If you have 10 trackers, VRIK and lots of space in the basement or garage then the quality/accuracy is comparable to Xsens, maybe 80%. Ikinema Orion is great but…

Pros
  • Free for education
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Dear size, good for PC

So far these 3 trackers I've ordered are amazing. I don't use it for anything other than full body tracking in virtual chat, but to be honest that's enough for me. Leg tracking is excellent and you can get a real feel for leg movement. I usually wrap them around my ankles and have never had a problem with sensors picking them up. The hip sensor was quite difficult to find in the right place, so I can still let the sensors track my movements while still being comfortable and not limited to where

Pros
  • Same as everything so far
Cons
  • Socket required

Although they are quite expensive and maybe a bit overpriced, they are more than worth the money I spent to be able to use them for the experience they add. While there aren't many games that support them, I first got 3 of them to use in VRChat for full body tracking with hip and leg tracking and a couple of straps for that. And wow, I received these with low expectations when trying out a mixed Oculus Rift hardware setup with them, but it's amazing how accurate they actually are. Since I use…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No paint required
