Horrible Quality- Don't Use

Based on my experience in the industrial and scientific field, I do not recommend this product from the Wiring & Connecting category! Although it has a low price point, the Hubbell 2922 8 Compression Coupling 2 Inch fell apart after a few uses. The only pro is its affordability but the cons definitely outweigh it .The coupling was poorly crafted and did not hold up well under pressure. Stay away from this low-quality option and invest in something that can withstand the demands of the job..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to its sturdy construction.
Cons
  • May require professional installation expertise to ensure proper fit and sealing.

Hard steel - good grip

I used these instead of screw couplers because I felt they would hold the EMT tighter and tighter. They are made from durable solid steel and work well when tightened with a crescent wrench. On the inside it has a stop in the middle to allow the EMT to slide. I deducted a star because the connected tubes are not perfectly straight after compression and can move a bit because they are not straight. However, I would still use them over die cast screw couplers instead of those good strong steel…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Some bugs
