Fits 100% on my Nissan Hardbody Dash 91. Headlights

Finally a socket that fits pre 90's Nissan vehicles that high beam, seat belt and oil gauge use a 3/8" socket, this is the socket for tack and speed-do as well as indicators on the dashboard.

Cons
  • Unnecessary Features

Not the best quality but good enough for light work

I used them to make a custom splitter wire harness for my new headlights with additional LEDs. They're not top quality, but they get the job done. The pin ends don't snap into the connectors very securely so I wouldn't trust them for heavy work, but the price didn't disappoint.

  • Lighting and Electrical
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Quality product but does not block the old dashboard.

Not installed in the old instrument cluster. I have a 1975 Ford F250 and am in the process of rebuilding my instrument cluster. I replaced the main body and the flex printed circuit that holds the lamp sockets. I bought these sockets to replace old, dry and cracked sockets. These sockets will normally fit the holes, but the sockets will not lock when rotated. I am testing an old installation with the same problem. I ended up ordering the more expensive LMC trucks and they bolted in and fixed…

Deviates from product image

I selected this from other listings based on product images. This was for an LED retrofit on my 1996 GMC Sierra. Posted my photos. Gray is the OEM base and Black is this item. The locking tabs must be offset more to hold the pins in the bare copper of the flex circuit when locked. As you can see in the photo, this is just on the edge of the bare copper. I did this by scraping off the chain's mask to reveal the brass. The holder is also only slightly larger than the OEM, it needs to be pushed…

They work, but they lack respect for polarity.

These connectors will work and provide the necessary hardware for assembly. However, the plugs do not respect polarity. What I mean is that the connector can be plugged in any orientation, so the positive and negative pins can cross or short. This may not be a problem on some installations, but for me it was an unpleasant surprise! I still used them, but now I have to be careful to match the colors of the wires on either side of these connectors. The most troubling aspect of this issue is that…
