🖥️ MSI Optix MAG341CQ, AG32C, AG32CQ, G24C, G27C, G27C2 Monitors - HumanCentric VESA Mount Adapter Review

Don't buy this if you have an MSI Optix MAG341CQ! I don't know why it's listed as compatible! I tried to install it on my new monitor but it didn't tighten properly and then I couldn't get it out because a screw was stuck! It was a disaster until I was finally able to get the screw out. Will definitely come back to this and try another brand.

Fits G241VC Monitor. The back of the monitor is curved so the mount doesn't sit flush with the entire arm. This is the only mount I could find in production that would allow reverse mounting. The mount is secure and the monitor doesn't wobble, so it gets the job done. With the monitor's curved back and straight arm, nobody looks behind the monitor, so it is not visible.

I was skeptical at first when I saw a review that said it couldn't get a screw out, but after paying $400 for a monitor I didn't want $60 for an MSI adapter and it's stupid that my MAG341CQ doesn't have built-in Vesa support! But I ordered this with my Vesa mount and it worked great! I have no problems with this adapter plate and can recommend it. Sorry for the cables, I haven't finished my desk yet haha.

The screws that come with the bracket are about 23mm longer than for a tight fit. Strut swing along the Y-axis This isn't that only time this item has had this complaint. I will attempt to disassemble the attachments on the bracket to remove this "faulty part or replace the screws with local parts". It would be nice if MSI wasn't so "junk" in the VESA design. If you have purchased this adapter, be aware that the screws may need to be replaced with shorter replacement parts from the hardware…

The head of the supplied screw broke off almost immediately. I had to use a bondo to fix it which is drying now but not sure if that will work. Because the screw completely covers the hole and is almost impossible to get out if the glue doesn't work, this product essentially ruined the monitor as I can no longer mount it on a stand or use the Vesa mount. Terrible quality. Use real metal screws, not very cheap composites. Without exaggerating, this is probably my worst purchase in over 10 years…

Good. To be honest I have decided not to use this product. Not because it didn't work, but because of the way my monitor is set up. I'm afraid my monitor is too heavy and might damage the part where the wall mount is attached.
